Procedures

For Portrait

A treasured portrait begins as a collaboration of the artist and client. Initial discussions occur deciding the mood, size, and background of the portrait. Clothing, the setting and the location of the portrait are considered. A date is selected for introductions and photographic session. Allow a half day to full day in the schedule. At this time the artist may also paint color notes and details of the subject. After this the artist will discuss the choices with you, reviewing the photos on computer. Next the artist will return to the studio and begin the portrait. When the portrait is complete it will be delivered to the client. To insure satisfaction the artist will make any important finishing touches. The artist requests 30% deposit with agreement to begin the process.

For Fine Art

Some paintings evolve from the soul and some, again, are the collaboration of the artist and client. Commissions for the home or corporate locations are welcomed with discussions of ideas and mood, colors and subject matter. Preliminary sketches are submitted for approval. Size and location are discussed. The artist requests 30% deposit with agreement to begin the process.
